17th of June - Arrive At siliguri......

After months of planning, the group caught flights from Delhi and arrived at Seva Kendra Mission in Siliguri!! Father James and the Seva Kendra staff formally welcomed us with a tradional welcome ceremony. We were presented with Tika (red dot on fore head), flowers, scarves and song. Father James expressed his gratitude many times for the Murdoch Chiropractic group returning to help the people of Siliguri. In turn he was thanked many times for the wonderful hospitality.

Some students had a couple of hours for some serious shopping. Under the watchful eye of Indra (Seva Kendra's expert shopper). She took us to the main Markets in Siliguri and guided us through shopping in India. Walking through the streets of Siliguri we were greeted with warm smiles and Hello's from just about every second person

Last minute preparations were made for the clinics, a few supplies purchased, plans finalised - and we're READY!!! (we think ....)
