16th of June - Leaving on a Jet plane ......

Sunday 15th of June, the group met bright eyed and bushy tailed ready to leave for India. 12.50pm our flight left, 10hrs flying later, we arrived in Delhi - much less bright eyed and bushy tailed. Thrilled to have cleared immigration & customs with our stash of donated tables, we all made our way to our respective accommodations.

Our first day in Delhi we spent amusing ourselves waiting for our connecting flight to Siliguri tomorrow morning ... auto rickshaw races through the streets of Delhi, bartering skills honed, starving out of fear of dysentery, got lost in underground markets, had some great chats with the locals, and saw the spectacular Red Fort.
